Prepare your domain for transfer.
Before starting with the domain transfer process, you need to check several matters:
- Make sure your domain is unlocked. You can perform a Whois search on any site that offers Whois service (e.g., whois.com or who.is) to check the applied locks on your domain. You may need to contact your current domain registrar for assistance unlocking your domain.
- Turn off any optional privacy service applied to your domain.
- Make sure you have access to the Registrant's email address of your domain.
- Obtain the EPP Transfer Code of your domain. You can find this code through your current domain registrar's panel.
Your domain is now ready to transfer. Start searching for your domain name on our website. You can use the search box located at https://n6cloud.com/domains/ or https://n6cloud.com/clients/?cmd=checkdomain. Find your domain name in the result and click on the Transfer button next to your domain name.
Our website may also suggest other available TLDs of your domain name. We recommend that you choose other TLDs if they are available by clicking on the Register button. Finally, click on the Order selected domains button at the bottom of the page.
In the next step, you'll be asked for the EPP Code. Enter the EPP Code you obtained before. You can also add one of our Shared Hosting or Managed WordPress plans to your Order by clicking on the link in the Edit Configuration section. If you have any promotional coupon, click on the Use promotional code link and enter your coupon. Click on the Continue button to navigate to the next step.
In the last step, you can create an account if you have yet to do so or log in to your existing account. You can also choose your desired payment method. Please read our Terms of Service and Privacy Policies and accept them. Finally, click on the Checkout button. You are all set!
Your domain transfer order will be submitted to our domain registrar. You'll receive an email from our registrar requesting to confirm the transfer. Please follow the steps to accept the transfer.
Our domain registrar will begin the transfer registrar process as soon as you accept the transfer. The process makes takes up to 14 days to complete. You will receive another email from your current registrar to confirm the transfer. Please follow the instructions in that email. Once the transfer is completed, you'll receive an email from our side, and you will be able to manage your domain through N6 Cloud Clients Portal.
