How to Create Sub Accounts (Contacts) with Restricted Access

If you're an N6 Cloud client, you might need to create additional contacts to keep track of multiple individuals associated with your account. This tutorial will show you how to create a contact in the N6 Cloud clients area as a client.

Step 1: Log in to the Clients Area

The first step is to log in to your Clients Area. You should have received login credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the "Manage Contacts" Section

Once you're logged in, navigate to the "Manage Contacts" section. You'll find it in the main menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

Step 3: Click the "Add new contact" Button

In the Contacts section, you'll see a button labelled "Add new contact." Click this button to create a new contact.

Step 4: Fill in the Contact Information

Please fill in the information for the contact. You'll need to provide the following information:

  • Account Type
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Postal Address

Optionally, you can select to notify the contact about the account creation.

Step 5: Set the Privileges

You can restrict the access of the new contact to certain parts or services under your account. You can also manage the contact access to specific departments.

Step 6: Save the Contact

Once you've filled in the required information and set permissions, click the "Submit" button to create the new contact. The contact will be added to your HostBill client area, and you'll be able to access and manage their information from the Contacts section.

Note: The ability to create contacts may depend on your specific account configuration. If you're unable to create contacts, you should contact the account owner for assistance.

That's it! With these simple steps, you should now be able to create a contact in the Clients Area. This will allow you to keep track of multiple individuals associated with your account and make it easier to manage your services and billing information.
