Assigning ports to the Cloud Back Up Service

Assigning port services to a Cloud Backup Service typically involves configuring the backup Service software to communicate with specific ports on the server where the backup agent is installed.

Please check the Knowledgebase article to learn how to create a Cloud Backup service or Click here!

Once you have added Backup services with N6 Cloud, you can assign the Ports to your Service.

Step:-1 Log in to CWP.

Step:-2 Search for CSF in the search area or Security.

Security>>CSF Firewall>>Firewall Configuration

Step:-3 Type in CSF firewall in the search area or Locate the Security tab.

Security>>CSF Firewall>>Firewall Configuration

Step:-4 Scroll down and locate the bellow commands:

Allow outgoing TCP ports
TCP_OUT = "20,21,22,25,53,80,110,113,443,2030,2031,2082,2083,2086,2087,2095,2096,853,587,993,995,2080,2443”

add the TCP ports: 44445,9850,445,25001,6109,7770:7800

Or you can replace the existing command with:

# Allow outgoing TCP ports

"20,21,22,25,53,80,110,113,443,2030,2031,2082,2083,2086,2087,2095,2096,853,587,993,995,2080,2443,44445,9850,445,25001,6109,7770:7800"

Step:-5 Save changes

Step:-6 Firewall Restart

For you to successfully use the Cloud Backup service you are required to add these ports.
