How to enable Cloudflare on your Domain

What is Cloudflare?

It is generally known as CDN (Content Delivery Network), but it is more than that. Cloudflare’s mission is to make everything you connect to the internet safely, private, fast, and reliable. So, Cloudflare is a service that helps make your website quicker and more secure.

Five reasons why to use Cloudflare?

Faster Website: when a visitor requests a page from your website, the request goes to your web server. The visitor’s browser will download necessary content from your server, this occurs every time visitors request a page. When you add a website with Cloudflare, it stores a copy of your website's content in its globally distributed data centers that minimize the page load time for your website.

Enhanced security and protection: The first level of protection is that Cloudflare hides your server’s actual IP address from the public. Cloudflare protects against cross-site scripting, SQL injection, Comment spam, bot crawlers, and much more.

Cache Management: As mentioned above, Cloudflare stores your website content in their global network so, page load time is minimum. If you click on the caching button>>configuration, you can do things like purge the cache. You can regenerate all the cached files if you have updated your website content.

Easy DNS Management: It is easy to manage your DNS records with Cloudflare as it automatically generates DNS records and it is easy to update the records through Cloudflare. Once you add your DNS Records in Cloudflare it speeds up and protects your site.

SSL: Using SSL is an essential ranking factor for search engines. Some browser also warns of insecure sites when visiting a website without SSL. Cloudflare offers a free SSL certificate for your site and is easy to activate.
